Within the scope of WENexus, managing utilities can count on support in the following domains:
– Engineering consultancy for activities related to energy efficiency of water and wastewater systems and the development of associated terms of reference;
– Support for the development of a financial model for project implementation or funding opportunities;
– Legal and judicial support for pre-contractual and tendering procedures.
No. The investments resulting from the projects developed within the framework of WENexus with the utilities will not be financed. Only the consultancy services provided by the Consortium are free of charge (once covered by the LIFE programme).
The Management Utilities interested in developing Pilot Projects within the scope of WENexus can contact the Project Team by email or by filling in the questionnaire available on the website. After that, the WENexus team will contact the Management Utility to jointly evaluate a possible co-operation.
WENexus Project has started on September 1st, 2023 and lasts for 3 years, after which the impacts of the project will continue to be monitored through its replication over the following 5 years. During the project phase (September 1st 2023 to 31st August 2026), the Consortium Companies can provide support to managing utilities interested in making investments to support the energy transition of their operations.
